We drove up from Lainach in the Möll Valley into the Kreuzeck group, where we met Tina, OE8TIK. Together we continued on to the Obere Alm.
Tina spends the summer up there and takes wonderful care of the grazing cattle. After a trackless ascent to the beautiful wooden summit cross, we met the landowner who had built the cross, together with his girlfriend. Together we hid the geocache „Harti”.
After the 2 m and 70 cm activation we spent some more pleasant time with Tina, chatting about everything under the sun. Once home, OE7OPJ let us know via S22 that Tina had lost her phone. After a short search we found it in our car.
It just goes to show how useful it is to be QRV with amateur radio equipment. A big thank-you to OE7OPJ for his tireless dedication to the amateur radio community.
